The meaning behind the name

A few people have been asking me about what the name YANA (pronounced YA-NAH) means, why I chose it.

I remember the first time I told a friend about the business I was about to start and its name and her response was "oh, Yana like the gin". I didn't know what she was referring to at first but told her my brand name comes from my spiritual journey, it is a name that was given to me by my spiritual guides.

You see, as part of my self discovery & growth process I meditate regularly. It is during these sessions where my spiritual guides come through the strongest and one of the things I always find my self doing in chanting the words 'YANA YAWEH'. 

The phrase stayed with me and I had to look it up. My research revealed that this phrase in an ancient Hebrew means "graced by Yahweh/God is gracious. It immediately made sense when I connected it to the spiritual path I was on & I knew at that moment that this would be the name I would use for my business as it was closely aligned to my purpose.

So dear friends, this is the story behind the name YANA Indigenous Healing.
